"Lighten up on yourself. No one is perfect. Gently accept your humanness."–Deborah Day

Connecting people, building relationships and trust is the most important thing as you grow older. After years of working with the elderly, we have found that support at home can prevent falls and increase mobility. At some stage in life we need to accept that our lives have changed and stop fighting alone. Fighting against frailty is a constant process. As they say; "If you don't use it, you'll lose it." Activities add structure to each day and motivate people to push themselves and create ways to meet new friends to build social support. This prevents people from going into frail care centres for extended periods of time. We have experience in Elderly Care, Dementia Care, Frail Care, Palliative Care and general Home Based care and know how difficult it can be for the family to support a loved one who lives with with for instance dementia. Making decisions on their behalf can be hard on them and the family.

Let us help you to celebrate each moment as a gift, because life is fragile... Care and elderly care recommendations and referrals will be made in areas of concern. Care will be discussed with clients or their family. With more than 60 combined years of nursing experience in various fields, our vision is to help people to age at home, promote active ageing and help to change the image and perception of retirement to "rewirement".

Alternative care is a way of living. We know how to enable and encourage you to move a little more every day.

Get in touch for free initial assessments or if you need guidance or just want to talk to somebody that cares. We might not have all the answers, but we can help you to find it.  Caring for an elderly family member or yourself often requires teamwork. Shared responsibilities are always easier.

We are registered as a Care Provider and we have successfully negotiated many care service authorisations with most medical aids.

We offer Dementia-, Frail-, Palliative- and Home Based Care

We service Somerset West, Strand, Gordons Bay and Stellenbosch
